Career Astrology: Your weapon for success

A good career is the most important part of life today, as no one can survive without a good career in today's world. Having a good, successful, high-profile career is becoming increasingly vital now, more than ever before. But it is also becoming equally difficult to choose the right career. This is where Career Astrology comes into picture. A learned astrologer can draw a career horoscope on the basis of the native's birth data, and analyse what career will suit him the best.

Career astrology predicts the professional life of the native and answers the following questions about his career:

1 What is the suitable profession- job or business?
2 Which industry will be suitable for job/business?
3 What sort of a role will suit the native in a job?
4.When will the native get a good job?
5 How will his relations with his bosses be?
6.Will the authorities support the native?
7 When is he likely to get a promotion?
8 Is the current time suitable for a job change?
9 How is the current period for career?
10 What is the remedy or gemstone, if required?

It is the 10th House in which we can find our primary career goals. Hence, the 10th House is also described as outlining one's fame, reputation, honour and highest achievements. It is also described as the boss -- either your attitude towards the authority of others, or you as the authority. When you think of the 10th House, think of institutional traditions that have withstood the test of time. Government and political aims naturally fall into the domain of the 10th House.

According to Vedic Astrology, Sun is the Raja (King) of the stars. Name, fame, power or authority, management, municipal corporations, civil engineering, medicine, chemicals, architectural work, and work related to metals are a few professions related to this planet.

Moon on the other hand is the Raani (Queen) of the stars. Moon is the ruler of the mind, and gives reasoning power to the native. Administration, politics, agriculture, travel, telecom, trade in items of water, dairy farms, water works, textiles, naval work, psychiatry, medicine are a few professions related to the Moon.

Mars, according to Vedic Astrology is the Senapati (Army chief) of the stars. Mars is the ruler of stamina and ability. Army, police, information technology, mechanical, electrical and industrial engineering, trades in metals, geological institutions, railways, labour forces, surgery departments, trades in weapons, cooking are few professions related to Mars.

According to Vedic Astrology, Mercury is the Yuvraj (Prince) of the stars. Mercury is the ruler of intelligence, analytical decision and approach, banking, finance, business process outsourcing (BPO), stock market, education department, literature, book-keeping, writing, audit or accounts, oratory, ambassadorial work, astrology, engineering, crafts, etc. are a few professions related to Mercury.

Jupiter on the other hand is the Guru (Teacher or Minister) of the stars. Jupiter is the ruler of education and marriage. Education, teaching, treasury, banking, publication, content writing, law and justice, postal department, courts, temples, revenue department, advisory councils, advertisements, etc. are few professions related to Jupiter.

According to Vedic Astrology, Venus is the star of wealth. Venus is the ruler of luxury, art and love. Manufacturing or trading of cosmetics or other ornamental items, music or cultural organisers, customs, imports or exports, gems, trade in gold, foreign representatives, drama, cinema, etc. are few professions related to Venus.

Saturn is the Lord of justice. It signifies studies related to tradition, philosophy and spiritualism. It rules over all types of fuel and their extraction, excretory system and all works related to drainage, plumbing, etc. It is a signifier of labour, artisan, works, factory, refrigeration, low cadre work or services, physical and hard work of all kinds, glass or tile factories, metaphysics, philosophy, gardening, lead astronomy, agriculture, footwear, etc.

Rahu indicates research studies, big machines, their manufacturers or trade, leather goods nuclear set-ups, knowledge of import, and poisonous drugs. It has a special tang for foreign products.

Ketu indicates computers, exports, mathematics, statistics, high accuracy small machines, spiritualism, terrorism and trading of animals or their body parts.

Using 'Vimshottari Mahadasha' for predictions

The total period of the Vimshottari Mahadasha is 120 years. The name Vimshottari is self-explanatory. It is Vees (20) after Shattari (100) according to a rustic saying. An uneducated villager who would not know how to count will count 120 as 20+100. Hence the name-Vimshottari.

The period for each Mahadasha Swami is given below:

Dasha swamiNakshatra Period in years.
Ketu Ashwini, Magha, Moola 7
Shukra Bharani, Purva Phalguni, Purvashadha 20
Ravi Krittika, Uttara Phalguni, Uttarashadha 6
Chandra Rohini, Hasta, Shravan 10
Mangal Mrugshirsh, Chitra, Dhanishtha 7
Rahu Ardra, Swati, Shattaraka 18
Guru Punarvasu, Vishakha, Purvabhadrapada 16
Shani Pushya, Anuradha, Uttarabhadrapada 19
Budh Ashlesha, Jyeshtha, Revati 17
------
120

These Mahadashas are widely used all over the world. Although some astrologers may use a different Ayanamsha or method, they also follow this one. Some astrologers use Lahiri, Yukteshwar, Raman, Bhasin, Fagan, Krishnamurti ayanamsha or a Sayana method, but for predicting, the the most popular method is the 'Vimshottari Mahadasha' method.

One has to know which Bhav will give a much better result. The capacity of Bhavesh in giving the positive results is given below in a descending order:

Lord of 9th House
Lord of 5th House
Lord of 10th House
Lord of 7th House
Lord of 4th House
Lord of 1st House
Lord of 12th House (this will give a neutral result)
Lord of 2nd House
Lord of 8th House
Lord of 3rd House
Lord of 6th House
Lord of 11th House

Thus the Lord of the 9th House will give the most positive results, and the Lord of the 11th House will give minimum positive results.

Further, even if the Lord of 10th, 7th, 4th and 1st House is a malefic planet, it will give a positive result, and that if it is a benefic planet, it will give a negative result.

Shubh Grahas (in descending order): Shukra, Guru, Shubh Budh, Shubh Chandra.

Ashubh Grahas (in ascending order): Ashubh Budh, Ashubh Chandra, Ravi, Shani, Mangal.

Rahu and Ketu: They are malefic planets, but they do not have a Lordship of any House, and hence the above rule is not applicable. But, it is observed that Rahu may misguide a native leading to some losses. Whereas, Ketu gives no such result.

Uranus, Neptune and Pluto: They do not have a Lordship, but they do bear some results in their Nakshatra swami dasha as per their relations with the Nakshatra swami.

It is observed that sometimes a native may feel that he/she has something major missing in his/ her life. This may indicate the absence of proper dasha in his/her entire lifetime, which will invariably lead to unhappiness.

This may be true to some extent.

Generally, a natal chart is likely to have 4 distinct positive dashas -

(1) Chandra or Budh in childhood.
(2) Mangal, Shukra or Rahu during young age.
(3) Ravi or Guru in middle age.
(4) Shani or Ketu in older age.

If, this does not happen, the native is likely to face depression, unhappiness frustration and other similar situations in life.

The effects of SATURN & remedies to nullify them

According to the Astrological thesis, Saturn is described as a serpent, whose head or mouth is Rahu, and Ketu is its tail. If Rahu is posited in earlier Houses than Saturn, the latter becomes a great benefic for the native. However, if the position is otherwise, Saturn throws poisonous or negative results on the native. Further, Saturn never gives malefic effects, if posited in the Houses 2nd, 5th, 9th, or 12th of Jupiter; whereas Jupiter provides bad results if posited in the Houses of Saturn.

Saturn is considered good if placed in the 2nd ,3rd and 7th to 12th House, while the Houses 1, 4, 5, and 6 are bad for Saturn. Sun, Moon and Mars are its enemies; Venus, Mercury and Rahu are friends, and Jupiter and Ketu are neutral to it. Saturn gets exalted in the 7th House and the 1st House is the House of its debilitation. Venus and Jupiter placed together act like Saturn in that House. Similarly, Mars and Mercury placed in a single House act like Saturn in that House. In the former case, Saturn behaves like Ketu, while in the latter case it behaves like Rahu.

Venus gets destroyed if Saturn is being aspected by the Sun in any horoscope. The aspect of Venus on Saturn causes loss of wealth, but the aspect of Saturn on Venus proves highly beneficial. Collision of Saturn and Moon leads to surgery of the native's eyes. Saturn gives good results, if posited in the House earlier than the Sun.

Saturn can never give malefic results, if posited with the Sun or Jupiter in a single House, but highly adverse results would follow, if posited with Moon or Mars in any House. When saturn is in between Rahu and Ketu in previous House, it will not give bad results.

If Saturn is posited in 1st House, then Saturn releases its poisonous or negative results...
(1) On the sign of the Sun and Mars.
(2) On Mars, only if posited in the 3rd House,
(3) On Moon, if posited in the 4th House,
(4) On Sun, if posited in the 5th House,

On Mars, if posited in the 8th House. Saturn in the 3rd House deprives the native of accumulation of wealth. It may also kill the children of the native when posited in the 5th House and when the 10th House is empty. It becomes highly benefic in the 12th House, if friendly planets are posited in the 2nd House. Saturn provides very good results, if placed in the Houses 1st to 7th on the condition that the 10th House is empty. Saturn in the 1st House and the Sun in the 7th, 10th or 11th Houses causes all sorts of troubles for native's wife. Combination of Mars and Saturn gives adverse results all through.

Remedies for the adverse effects of Saturn in all the Houses as per Red Book / Lal Kitab:

1st House:-
(a) Abstinence from consuming alcohol and non vegetarian food.
(b) Burying surma in the ground will be beneficial for promotion at work.
(c) Feeding monkey will lead to prosperity.
(d)Offering sweet milk to the roots of a banyan tree will give good results in education and health.

2nd House:-
(a) Going barefoot to temple for forty-three days.

(b) Donating medicines for eyes or distributing free medications for eyes.

An insight on 'Haryali Teej'

The third lunar day of the bright fortnight in the month of Sravan is celebrated as Haryali Teej by married women. It is a time of full-fledged rainy season when the earth is covered by lush green trees and grass and the atmosphere is very beautiful. And that is why it is called Haryali Teej. This Vrata should be observed by unmarried girls for getting a suitable and attractive husband. Married woman observe this for everlasting conjugal life. While observing this fast many women do not eat any solid food. Religious minded women do not even drink water. In the morning, after taking a bath, worship Lord Ganesha and Uma Maheswar, chant bhajans throughout the day, and listen to Haritalika Vrata Katha. In the eastern part of our country this day is celebrated as Kajjali Teej.

Legend has it that on this day in ancient times, love-sick Devi Parvati, suffering from acute pangs of separation from her beloved husband Lord Shiva, observed this Vrata and thus united with Lord Shiva. So married women, in order to win the love of their husbands for a happy conjugal life, observe this day with solemnity.

The beauty of nature outside brings joy and pleasure to the minds of the people - men and women alike. Peasants sing the Malhar in fields and ladies sing playfully in every house, especially in Bihar, UP and Rajasthan. They worship Devi Parvati and wear coloured scarfs or sarees called 'lahariya'. The women take out a colourful procession with an idol of goddess Parvati in their hands. Married women should not go to their father's house in the first Sravan month after their marriage. Instead, different types of tasty foods are prepared in their father's houses and sent to their daughter's house. The ladies decorate their hands and palms with 'mehendi' and paint their feet with lac-dye (alta). On this day the wives should religiously follow these three things:

(a) avoid deceit, chicanery or hypocrisy with their husbands;
(b) shun falsehood and bad behaviour; and
(c) never indulge in scandal-mongering and backbiting.

On this occasion a special dance programme named Ghumar is staged. It is believed that the custom of wrestling in Rajasthan started on this day during the Pathan period in India. The Haryali Teej falls on 26th of July this year 2017.

RATH YATRA - A journey towards salvation

The 'Chariot festival' or Ratha Yatra literally means journey by chariot. This festival is observed across India with pomp and gaiety. Lord Vishnu's incarnations such as Lord Krishna or Jagannath or even Lord Ram's idol is placed on a chariot drawn by the 'dastus'. It is brought to different destinations like Goddess Lakshmi's temple, Radhika's temple or Sita Devi's. Eventually, it goes to Puri to Gundicha temple where the wooden idol of Lord Jagannath, Balaram and Subhadra are made. This Ratha Yatra starts on the second lunar day of bright fortnight in the month of Aashaadh (Sukla daitiya) and continues for eight days. Among all the chariot festivals, on this occasion the foremost festival is observed in Puri, one of the four greatest places of pilgrimage in India. Here three chariots, one each of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balaram and of their beloved sister Subhadra Devi are brought on the streets of Puri and drawn by thousands of devotees who converge on the occasion form all over the globe. The most important characteristics of this festival of Puri is that people of all castes, right from Brahmin to Chandal have the right to draw the chariot. This chariot proceeds slowly in the morning after the performing the Puja and other rituals. The king of Puri, Gajapati, sweeps the street with a golden broom. The chariots are covered with different colored clothes. They have different names - Lord Jagannath's hariot is named 'Nandighosh', Lord Balaram's 'Taladhwaj' and Subhadra Devi's chariot is called 'Darpadalana'. The Nandighosh's colour is red and yellow; the Taladhwaj's colour is red and green while the Darpadalana's colour is red and blue. Though Devi Subhadra is worshipped in Puri, but in Hindu mythology, she is not called a goddess. Only in Mahabharata we find that she is the beloved sister of his two loving elder brothers.Another interesting feature of the idols of Puri is that unlike the idols of Gods and Goddesses of all the temples of India, they have more resemblance with tribal totems.  The main temple of Puri was built in the 12th century during the reign of the king Anantavarman Chodganga. After that, another 120 temples were built later. Before the journey begins, the chariots are placed in proper array - first Lord Balaram's chariot, which is 44 feet high, then Devi Subhadra's chariot, which is 43 feet high and at last Lord Jagannath's, which has a height of 45 feet. Throughout the day the chariots proceed slowly towards Gundicha temple and reach there in the evening. The three deities rest there for eight days and on the ninth day, their return starts in the morning, after performing Puja and other rituals. On the day before the chariots are placed in right array by turning their faces towards the streets. This return journey is called in Oriya as 'Bahuda Jatra, which starts in the morning and terminates before the Jagannath temple. The deities are kept on the chariots and are worshipped till Ekadashi or eleventh lunar day, after which they are again placed in the temple in their respective places.Another feature of Puri's Jagannath temple is that the world's largest kitchen is made outside the temple, where about 25,000 devotees take the Mahaprasad, or cooked food offered to God, daily and during the festival the number surpasses one lakh. 14,000 men work for proper manning the kitchen and other arrangements. And around 6,000 priests are engaged for worshipping etc. year after year without interruption. This is the national festival of Orissa spanning for 10 days in which lakhs of devotees congregate from every corner of the globe. Another most interesting feature of Puri's kitchen is that the Brahmins share food in the same 'thali' with people of any caste. The pundits on sociology say that it is the remnant of Buddhism, which negates any caste division and as the temple of Puri was once a Buddhist shrine. This feature is found nowhere in India and the priests say that in Sreekshetra, i.e. Puri, there is no caste bar and all his offspring are equal in the eye of Lord Jagannath. Each year the three chariots are built with wood and there is not a single piece of iron used in it. The wood is collected on Vasant Panchami day and the work starts on Akshay Tritiya and the work of the three chariots is completed a few days before the Ratha Yatra. The Jagannath temple is a piece of art and sculpture. The temple is 214 feet high and resembles the Shiva temple or Lingaraj temple of Bhubaneswar. It is believed that previously the outer side of the temple was full of humorous figurines. But in the later period these were covered with line and sand and different design was built. The Pundits say that it is was done to obliterate the Buddhist remnants after the waning of Buddhism in India. It is pertinent to note here that unlike the chariots, the building of idols of three deities does not take place every year but once in 8 to 19 years in the month of Aashaadh with extra days in the calendar. That year, the bodies of three idols are built and this occasion is called 'Navakalevar' meaning new body. And a festival is observed on this occasion and the old idols are buried at Koyli Baikuntha a place inside the temple boundary. This year, the Ratha Yatra begins on 13th of July and concludes on 22nd July 2010. This period is one of the most auspicious periods to begin all auspicious functions and perform all auspicious rituals.

GaneshaSpeaks.com

A young, romantic comedy with a fresh pairing of Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor who epitomise today's youth, the film is about a teenage guy who hates the mushiness associated with young romance, and how he eventually falls into the magical trap of love. The team of 'I Hate Luv Storys' is leaving no stones unturned to promote the film, and ever since the promotion of the film began, there has been excellent feedback on the youthful energy and on-screen chemistry Imran and Sonam exhibit.

Will the fresh pairing of Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor in the small-budget film 'I Hate Luv Storys' lure the audience to cinema houses? Ganesha finds out.

Release time chart

Astrological Observations

  • Mars is in the Ascendant
  • Mercury is in it's own sign in the 11th House of gains, but Ascendant Lord Sun and 2nd plus 11th House Lord Mercury are afflicted by Ketu.
  • Moon is placed in the seventh House in water bearer's sign.
  • Jupiter aspects the second House by Saturn is posited in the second House.
  • 10th Lord is in the 12th House

Astrological Predictions

  • Ganesha feels that the film may have an above start at the box office, but with the help of mouth publicity it may do good business till the first weekend. Despite this, it may not churn a lot because 2nd House and 11th House Lord Mercury is afflicted.
  • In such case, if the film is released with more prints across India and abroad, the first week business may help producers gather a good sum, but this movie may not have any 'Midas touch' to keep the audience interested for a long time.
  • Some of the dialogues may be good.
  • Mercury is in it's own sign, so this may attract youngsters. However, it may not appeal all age groups.
  • This film may end up doing average business in India, but in foreign land it might do well, predicts Ganesha.

Good luck and may Lord Ganesha bless the cast and crew of 'I Hate LUV Storys'.

Astrology and the awakening of Kundalini

GaneshaSpeaks.com
It is important for us to know the relation between the Planets and various Chakras.

1. Kundalini - Rahu.
2. Muladhar Chakra - Venus.
3. Swadhisthan Chakra - Mars.
4. Manipur Chakra - Sun.
5. Anahat (Heart) Chakra - Jupiter.
6. Vishuddha (Throat) Chakra - Mercury.
7. Agnya (Third Eye) Chakra - Moon.
8. Sahastradhar Chakra - Saturn.
9. Ojas (Samadhi) - Ketu.

Planetary conditions in Horoscope responsible for Kundalini Awakening: -

1. Square, Trine, Parivartan, Conjunction or  Opposition between Jupiter & Sun, Moon or Rahu.
2. Square, Trine, Parivartan, Conjunction, Opposition or Aspect of Venus with Jupiter or Saturn.
3. Jupiter in 8th House, or related with 8th House or more planets in 8th House.
4. Square, Trine, Parivartan, Conjunction, Opposition or Aspect of Venus with the Lord of 10th House.

In a Horoscope, if the number of conditions applicable is either one or more, then Kundalini Awakening becomes easier. If Rahu falls in a fiery or airy sign in the Horoscope, it is believed that the person progresses quickly towards the Divine power. One is likely to get some Siddhi too. For getting Diksha from a Satpurush (Saint), it is important to have a favorable Moon & Saturn in transit. Also Jupiter & Venus should not be in conjunction with Sun at the time of Diksha. This is how one can figure out how far he or she is astrologically capable of Addhyaatm (a divine life) & the extent of his or her success.

The importance of blood groups in match making

GaneshaSpeaks.com
Normally, Astrologers do the match-making by considering the horoscopes of the two individuals. However, there are times when it becomes necessary to go through the blood groups of the prospective candidates to compare the compatibility between them. To know the relations between various blood groups is an astrologers' prime responsibility. The chart below mentions the matching blood groups and the blood groups that do not match with each other.
Blood Groups that do not match

Sr. Boy Girl
1 A O & B
2 B O & A
3 AB O, A & B
4 Rh+ve Rh-ve

2 B B & AB

Decoding the auspicious practice of 'Vrat'

Man is a treasure of many hidden powers. But due to external appearances and pressures of the outside world, many of these powers remain debilitated. Consequently, he is constantly is surrounded by either some illnesses or troubles in life. In order to get rid of these troubles in life, add to the balance books of his good deeds and/ or in his quest to attain salvation, man takes help of 'vrat' or fasting.

There are a number of benefits of this practice called 'vrat'. A systematic and careful practice of keeping a 'vrat' ensures that a person comes face to face with many uplifting and energising spiritual and metaphysical experiences. By doing this, he not only gets entitled to a number of worldly and spiritual gains, but also gets the energy to face the struggles and challenges of life with a renewed zest and confidence.

This practice of 'vrat' purifies the human soul. Man becomes wiser and there is a definitive escalation in his will-power. His thoughts get purified and he can even achieve atonement and penance from God. Such a person tends to become more inclined towards religion, spirituality and mythology, and many other similar changes take place for good. One may enjoy his/her professional as well as personal life with more vigour by religiously doing 'Vrat'.

However, one needs to make sure that all the important regulations of fasting are taken well into consideration, to obtain maximum benefit out of the 'vrat'.
Measures/ regulations to be kept in mind and follow while observing a 'vrat':

  • 'Vrat' is incomplete without taking an oath, or keeping in mind a definite resolution. Thus, it is important to have a clear-cut reason and time period for the 'vrat'. Taking an oath about this is crucial before you begin a 'vrat'.
  • Do consider an auspicious time or 'muhurat' before you observe or plan to observe the 'vrat'; this would help in completion of the 'vrat' without any hurdles or obstacles.
  • Avoid anger and criticism on the day of 'vrat'. Also, compulsorily practice celibacy on this day or during this time period.
  • It is advisable to take/ seek blessings of your elders of the family, parents and Guruji.
  • Practice 'vrat' as per the ancient wisdom or scriptures. You cannot make adjustments as per your requirements, even if necessary.
  • In case of a birth or death in the family, one will have to begin the entire 'vrat' all over again.
  • Do not count the day when a woman starts menstruating if she is already observing the 'vrat'. Do observe a fast, but don't worship God on that particular day.
  • To achieve fruitful results after observing the 'vrat', one needs to finish the 'vrat' systematically, following the ancient wisdom of scriptures.
  • It becomes mandatory to practice forgiveness, truth, mercy, charity, and spirituality during the period of the 'vrat'.
  • If there is no fixed deity for a particular 'vrat', then you can remember and worship your chosen deity.
  • Do not forget to remember your ancestors on the day of 'vrat'. This way, you will be able to get their blessings, and will be able to accomplish the motive of your 'vrat', swiftly, perfectly and successfully.
  • In case you experience any hurdles or obstacles in your 'vrat', first of all atone for the inadvertent mistakes that you may have made in your 'vrat'. After that, you may begin the 'vrat'.
  • The relation of fast and 'vrat' is like that of a body and soul; both compliment each other, and none can exist alone. So, it is important to observe fast on the day of 'vrat'.
  • Keep your diet simple, pure, light and nutritious on the day of 'vrat', this will make you feel healthy and light. Avoid food that contains onion, garlic, egg, flesh and alcohol. Also don't consume food which is stale, heavy, fried & oily or any food, which may lead to constipation.

What has Cupid in-store for the new brides?

Aries:
All the Rams for whom the wedding bells are soon-to-ring this year will surely gain a lot from their marriage, feels Ganesha. But because Nodes are in square with your sun sign, you may have to fly across seven seas and settle there. This may make you homesick initially. Also, since Saturn's hard transit is likely to happen soon, you may have to face some teething problems at the marital front.

Taurus:

Bulls may have to fight it out really hard for good compatibility with their partners, if they are getting married this year. Still, you may need a little time to know and understand each other, and make the relationship work. Give it its due! Ganesha advises you to be calm and patient; love and care will act as healing balms to soothe ruffled feathers of your spouse.

Gemini:
Anything you take up may seem challenging initially, but applying the right formula may soon help you find solutions to any of your problems. Similarly, the initial downpour of responsibilities may create confusion for you. Just follow your instincts and do your duty. Stop being judgemental, and stay away from uncalled for discussions. As Ganesha says, unconditional love sans arguments is the perfect recipe for a happy marriage!

Cancer:
Life is not a bed of roses, and that's what you realise during the first year of your marriage. You may face some difficulties due to adverse transit of Nodes. Learn to adjust, and let go of petty issues, which may take an ugly turn, if not handled prudently. Don't bog down your beloved with a whirlpool of over-powering emotions. Adjusting as per the now changed domestic environment may take a little time, but will come to you eventually. According to Ganesha, patience is the key to all life's locks.

Leo:
As you begin a new chapter of your life this year, you may face some financial problems, initially. However, few years down the line you may realise that it was a blessing in disguise, and you and your spouse have been able to save a good amount of money. Relationships are fragile, and come with an invisible note of 'handle with care', especially when egos are at work. Keep the special surprise element alive in your married life by inviting friends and throwing parties, every now and then.

Virgo:

It's important for you to know that honeymoon period is meant to be brief. It can't continue forever. Enjoy it while it lasts, but then understand that life will have to be dealt with more seriously. According to Ganesha, you will have to be more organised and plan for the future. Implementing a flexible approach towards new people, and places will make things easier for you. Life can be happier, if you apply the correct formula, which lies in adjustment and compromise.

Libra:
Physical and material comforts shall be on the cards, if you are planning to get married this year, predicts Ganesha. Both of you may share a sizzling chemistry in bed. Besides great compatibility, you may even share common ideas like buying a dream house or relocating to a better place, post marriage. Yet, within three years of happy and healthy married life, you may feel a deep need of rejuvenating your love life; this may invite some important decision like extending a family.

Scorpio:
Ganesha advises you to avoid dominating your partner; this may only make a good marriage go bad.  Reserve power plays only for the boardrooms! At home, instead, try to understand your spouse's needs and support him. Think twice before taking up anything new. Give a warm welcome to guests or family members; this may improve your equations with the near and dear ones. There may be some delay in childbirth; be patient.

Sagittarius:
You may often feel that marriage is a bond, which has nearly cut your wings of freedom. Despite this nagging feeling, you may have a strong emotional and physical bonding with your partner. Soon after the marriage, you may see a new member in your family, playing and babbling in your lap. Great wisdom comes with great experiences, and you may exactly follow this idea to overcome the challenges of life.

Capricorn:

Spending quality time with your partner and heart to heart communication are the vital components of a happy and healthy marriage. They not only nurture this bond, but also give you a serene state of mind. Let your spouse know that you value your relationship, and are happy to spare time for him. It is also important for you to realise that every relation comes with responsibilities, so do not treat it as a burden. According to Ganesha, managing these duties and responsibilities have a joy of their own. Enjoy the lovely transition from being single to married!

Aquarius:
The Water-Bearers will have to act with extra caution, especially while dealing with their partners. Disillusioned and lost is how you may feel sometimes. No two individuals are same, and there are chances of differences. However, it can be sorted out gracefully by speaking up rather than playing the blame game. As Ganesha says, try and put yourself in your partner's shoes to view the situation objectively. Marriages are celebrated as two people come together; let the world know that you are happy to be with each other!

Pisces:
All you Fishes who are tying the knot this year, may feel that you are sacrificing a lot for your family. At the same time you may also feel that your compromises and adjustments for the sake of the family are going unnoticed. Materialistic needs like gifts and gold are a part of marriage, and you'll be loaded with them, but your emotional demands or needs may remain unfulfilled. Be calm and patient. Try to understand your partner's nature and needs, after which you may find it easier to come to terms with the changes in life.

Will Britney regain balance with Jupiter Dasha?

From sharing passionate on-stage kisses with pop diva Madonna to bungling her marriage with Kev Fed, Britney Spears has been through one roller coaster of  life. Just like any celebrity, the pop star's affairs have been subjected to intense media scrutiny, one that brought the artist nearly to a psychological breaking point. While the last few years have seen the pop sensation recede into and emerge from a plethora of personal and public issues, Jupiter promises a much required change of tide. While a lot would depend on her personal efforts, new opportunities and projects provide important platform and assist the transit. For all practical reasons Britney better find no reason to say oops I did it again!

Ganesha, with the help of Vedic astrology, finds out what is in store for this pop diva.

Britney Spears
2 Dec 1981
1-20 am
Kentwood, Louisiana, USA

Astrological Observations
  • Britney will be under the influence of major and sub period of Jupiter till 18th June 2012.
  • Currently she is under the influence of Rahu Ketu half return (Rahu is transiting over Natal Ketu and Ketu is transiting over Natal Rahu).
  • In last week of August 2010, Saturn will transit over Ascendant's degree.
  • In October 2011 Saturn Return will take place.
  • Once Jupiter enters Aries, it will oppose Natal Jupiter.
  • From September 2010 to March 2011 Venus will transit over Natal Jupiter through the second house of finances.
Astrological Predictions

  • Britney is born with such a fate that she is constantly under the limelight, whether intentionally or not. Jupiter Dasha has begun for her and Jupiter is in the second house of finances. So although she would be gaining a lot of money while Jupiter Dasha operates, there may be some problems that she is likely to face.
  • Rahu Ketu half return are affecting both her career as well as domestic affairs. She may feel unrest while at home while her career may also remain unstable till May 2011.
  • Britney will experience great depression/frustration while Saturn transits over Ascendant's degree. Sickness/health issue could also be a bother. This negative period operates from last week of August to first week of September 2010.
  • September 2010 to March 2011 is the period during which she will earn lots of money and may also remain in the limelight. She will come across new opportunities or she may even launch new projects during this period.
  • Post May 2011, she may experience smoother sailing, feels Ganesha.
  • Her emotions will require lot of control during next one year, else she may face legal issues.

Ganesha wishes good luck to Britney Spears.

Do you have 'Raj Yoga' in your Kundali?

Chasing happiness is man's daily affair; everyone tries to get maximum happiness. But happiness is a relative term. How much happiness you are entitled to, depends on your fate. A person's joys and sorrows can be assessed by the positions of planets and Yogas in his/her Kundali. One such Yoga is the Raj Yoga, which is formed by the combination of auspicious planets in a Kundali. To know if a planet is auspicious or not, we go by their functional nature. But, the natural auspiciousness or otherwise of the planets concerned also plays a role in determining how you get the good things in life, (either lawfully or unlawfully, either by love or by force etc.). It is important to know the relationships between Navamsha and Dashamsha as it will show how long the good things would last. The final seal of approval is given in the natal chart by good Houses getting connected to good Houses in the Bhava chart.  For example, if the 2nd House gets connected to the 11th House, luck factor may not play a big role, but friends or strangers will go out of the way to help the native. Astrology says, that Moon in its various placements has a huge impact upon the Yoga. If the Trine or Kendra Houses have the aspect of Venus or Jupiter, then Raj Yoga gives its full results, and the native gets power and position, which can be compared with that of the king.

There are a number of combinations of Raj Yoga with various degrees of results. It is not correct to assume that just the existence of this Yoga in the Kundali will make the person like a king. There are many other positive and negative factors that can play a role in how lavish the person's lifestyle would be. Goddess Lakshmi is the epitome of triangle and Lord Vishnu is the epitome of the Kendra House. A combination of these two provides amazing fortune to its native. This Raj Yoga gives wealth, fame and prosperity. If a woman has Rajya Poojit Raj Yoga in her Kundali, her husband will be a respectable and affluent personality in the society.

If you are interested in knowing about the various Yogas present in your chart and their significance, you can use the 'Ask a question' service at ganeshaspeaks.com.
